Wow,this reflection and the comments really made me reflect on how I use to miss God in tough times! Complaining and faithless,2014 is when He showed me miracles and still does.I asked myself since where has He been to show off now but now I'm answered in full in this reflection. He has ALWAYS been there,I shout Mercy Merciful you've been to my ungrateful lukewarm faith self.
Lastly your 3yr prayer inspires me to keep at it with family getting close and even closer to God.
Thank you every one for making the reflections hit home.

God bless you and your family

Thank you, Laura. It is uplifting to hear that you felt the Lord's presence in the midst of one of life's curve balls. The moment of calm you described that you felt when everyone was quiet sounds like Jesus' presence, and your prayer allowed his love to touch each family member and envelope them with it. It is amazing to feel him lifting you up. I too, had an unexpected injury in my family with my 1-year-old that left my husband and I reeling in panic. I prayed to the Lord, and almost instantly felt his loving presence. Even when my heart did not stop beating and my adrenaline kept me in a state of panic. I felt him lift up my mind. This reflection today has helped me to understand it better. God bless you and your family, and many prayers for recovery.
