Thanks Joe. I was on a hike this weekend in Vermont and I too was struck by the need to be attentive to where my feet were going. It wasn’t just a fleeting thought that I always have when walking in the woods but this was intentional and this was a praying hike so I linked it to the need to live in the now because of what God called himself, “I am”. Keep my eye on the future, but live for God in the now and the past will have few holds, regrets on me. I was alone on this hike but I was aware of the presences of the Holy Spirit and once again it was confirmed that I am never alone. We do need to go off to pray to live well with those in our lives and to be a person of service.

I love the way you lead us into a deeper understanding of the readings.

Had Jesus wrote the sins of the people who want to condemn the woman to death,
He also write our names as we get back into His fold. His love always blossom even in the desert part of our life, as long we ask his graces.

This has been a wonderful reflection.. too often we look back and condemn ourselves thus denying God’s readiness to pour his Grace and Mercy . When we look to the future we demonstrate our Faith and courage.
