Prayer is the most powerful blessing given to us by our good Lord. Prayer is a free unlimited minutes, wireless connection of men to our good Lord. Our prayer connections to our good Lord is everywhere and anywhere, the signal is always available.
Answers to our prayers are always a mystery. I pray with persistence not just for asking but, to communicate with him. to make me feel his presence in.me. In front of the tabernacle my husband and me say our daily rosary and prayers. We are old, we know that during our early age our prayers is not as persistent as it is now. Thank you Lord for giving us this blessings , the chance to communicate with you.

thank you Mr LaCombe, for your insight. I always love your writings and comments on the readings. They are exactly what I need to "hear" and are so fitting to today's world. My prayer life has improved, but I continue to need reminders to be focused and less distracted. There are so many people, issues and needs in the world that need our prayers, our constant prayer, that it sometimes seems overwhelming. Where do I start? How to I focus on so many who need prayer? How do I make my prayer something more than just a running list of needs and wants? I try to start out with gratitude and asking for forgiveness and then focus on family, friends and personal needs. I try to make parts of my day more prayer filled such as praying at the stop lights or when I am stuck in traffic. I will pray as I am getting ready in the am, thanking God for a good nite's rest, for the opportunities that the day will bring, and for all that we have been given, for my health, etc. Praying for and with my grandchildren when they are with us has also been my priority. I want to pass on to them that conversations with God can happen anytime. Thanks again for your insight on prayer and for the reminder to stay focused. We need to pray constantly.

Thank you for your reflection of today's readings. I see myself in the "battles" you also have to fight daily in order to do more for God--to persist in prayer. One holy person who has been beatified already and awaiting canonization...in God's time...said, always do our prayers first. Everything else has to take 2nd priority in the activities of the day since our prayers will be our power in our daily activities. I am also guilty in not putting priority and not getting distracted when doing my prayers. When that happens and it get's in the way -- I use the distraction as part of my prayer. Thank you and more power.
