Dear Anonymous, as an educator and parent I sympathize with you and your child. You pose a valid question and your current situation is due your community’s school system that lacks a way to help your child. By the Grace of God our Christian Faith provides the hope and the answer. Help your child search for her God-given gifts and promote success in answering God’s calling, not that of a one dimensional educational system that does not provide for many of its children.

In our state this class is now required of every student who wants to graduate.

Does failing over and over teach us or discourage us?

Perhaps this is why my child often feels depressed as it will never be possible to attain something like algebra II. Perhaps this is why some people give up on their faith as trying to become saints and avoid sin feels overwhelming.

Appreciate your words and hope mine are not taken as criticism but just another perspective.
