Thank you so much for this reflection on today’s gospel. With everything that happened this week with Charlie Kirk, it’s so easy to become judgmental, including me. Speaking for myself, this Gospel and your reflection hit home. I’ve got a lot of work to do within myself. I certainly don’t want to bear bad fruit. If Saul can change, so can I. And our country as well…..

Thanks for that reflection John.
Wait until the wheat matures.
I have a 16 year old living in this household that sure looks like a weed and I really want to yank him out lol.
I’ll let him mature to 18 Y/O before I do that.
The phrase that struck out at me in this Gospel is:
“Why do you call me, “Lord, Lord” and not do what I say?”
Oh, and BTW, it does not say in the bible that Saul was on a horse…

This certainly is a commendable presentation. It seems there is an error in line 7 of the write up where the word ‘weeds’ is repeated. Obviously, the second ‘weeds’ in that line should be ‘wheat’.
