So many parallels to my grade school education. We had Sister Andrea, who was called the Bulldog. God rest her soul. Don’t remember getting in trouble with her. But I did with Sr. Pauline…in 8th grade. I believe she was more disappointed than angry as, I too, was generally well behaved.
To quote Old Blue Eyes, “…regrets, I’ve had a few…” Usually when I’ve strayed from the love of God.

I’m touched by your reflection and having gone through 12 yrs of Catholic education I can sympathize with your sentiments of discipling. I thank God everyday for dying for my sins. No one is perfect!

Thank you. Certainly made the readings clearer. I too generally behaved because I knew there would be consequences at home. Although, I do remember making fun of some children. I sometimes think about the hurt or maybe harm i may have caused. I pray God used my sins to make them stronger and more forgiving people.
