There are violent persecutions of Christians , particularly in some Asian countries. In Britain it is not physical violence, but rather expressed as contempt: how can we be so deluded. Oddly Britons who are Buddhist, Hindu or Moslem are not.

Your guidance on how we should respond is both practical and scriptural. We have the advantage of knowing who “wins” in the end.

However a more profound look would illustrate that mostky poor, marginalized women are forced into such a choice. AND how about writing how to help them rather than demonize them. Also would you consider addressing Cardinal Bernadin’s seamless garment concept. How about all the civilians killed in an unjust war the US engaged in IRAQ. So we are not victims of persecution! We are privileged white folks in a prosperous country! Jesus would reach out to those on the margins not engage in smug, supercilious theology that is vapid and vacuous

Covid is an easily transmitted deadly virus. Pastors agreed with this and found new ways for people to worship.
