Thank you very much for this reflection John.Despite your initial writers block, you have managed to illustrate perfectly a common failing in many Christians and Catholics.Sometimes we are sobusy looking for miracles that we don’t see the light of Christ that’s all around us.

I guess there are a lot of us who can’t see the nose in front of our faces… my nose is quite sizable and still have learned to tune it out. Let me not tune out God.

Thank you John. I’m glad there are other people in the world like me who miss the obvious things Jesus is doing for my right in front of me! I think for my part it is stubbornness and my own self-interests that block God’s signs. He sometimes uses a 2×4 wooden beam to hit me on the back of the head and that is just fine with me! “Straight ahead focus” that’s me too! Finally a diagnosis. I wore a white dress and had a nice meal when I was confirmed. Thank you so much for your thoughtful words. I have been missing some of the daily blogs, but realize how much time and work go into them. So many thanks again and for starting my day with a chuckle or two!
