Abraham and Sarah did not have faith that the Lord would deliver and took matters into their own hands. Yes, it was Sarah who suggested he lie with Hagar but it was Abraham who went along with the suggestion instead of being the moral compass for his wife. I think the same situation applied with Adam and Eve. Yes, it was Eve, who ate first and offered to Adam. But it was Adam who was present and did not turn Satan away. Good observation. Thanks Skip.

I think you missed Abrams sin in this episode. God told Abram that he would make his descendents as numerous as stars in the sky.
Then Abram gladly listens to his wife about laying with the slave girl ( what man wouldn’t).
So, both Abram and Sarah fail this test of belief.
However, Abraham was tested again with Isaac and we know the rest of the story.
