Until sometime ago I never really understood Mr Rogers and what he represented. His humility and goodness follows the path of Christ. What a wonderful example he set for so many that followed him…I’m disappointed I took so long to realize what he was all about. Sort of a modern day prophet going about his business…quietly and humbly.

The assumption of Mary was the taking up of her body into heaven after her death. Her body was not corrupted but tradition holds immediate taking up of her body after death. This is the belief based on tradition and because no tomb was ever found.

Mary was also another person in the bible who was taken to heaven before her actual death, though compared to the other three, her “assumption” wasn’t mentioned in the bible.
