Thank you John. Another good job of tying the scriptures to today and our everyday lives.
You and St. Lawrence reminded me of a saying I’ve heard before attributed to St Francis de Sales; “a sad saint, is a sad kind of saint”. There must be joy in “dying” and then rising in Christ. Those that we witness to must see that joy in us if they are to come to Christ.

I also had difficulty understanding the phrase, “Whoever loves his life loses it”…. you have done a great job explaining that it is about priorities and where is God on our priority list?
