Thanks Julie, I see my mom Julia in your reflection today. I also am not as busy as my mom was for the thanksgiving feast , but I enjoy working together with my children and their spouses to have a thankful day . We miss grandma ,but know she and dad are there in spirit.

Thanks Julie. I love your reflections because you break it down into the simple ‘bread and butter’ so to speak. Jesus always has our best interest at heart, and the story of Mary and Martha is no different. He knows our human tendencies that feed into our worldly anxieties. If we get too caught up in the mundane and the accomplishment of tasks, it can steal our Joy. The joy he wants us to have.
