I have long told others that I believe God IS the universe!! Everything in it is woven from His being, and of course that is how He knows everything as well!! I also believe that God is the ultimate scientist; since our world and outer space–as we know it–all have laws, reason and logic too. So, that is the framework for me and it makes it easier to explain to unbelievers. Something they can see and literally put a finger on or in, like Saint Thomas. I just wanted to share this and see what others who are religious think and/or believe as far as ‘explaining God’ to themselves or others. God bless all of you who read this!!

Thanks Julie for your insight. Space is vast and mysterious as is our Lord and creator. Todays Gospel tells us about the great knowledge and accounting God has of our world…counting birds and hairs is an incredible task. He also keeps track of the truth in our hearts minds and souls. Hard to imagine but so is the universe. Thank you for your wonderful reflections!

Julie I so look forward every two weeks to your essays on life. What I enjoy so much is the fact you don’t pontificate you simply break down the complex and break it down to how it impacts us.
