Watch “The Chosen” on utube. Best story I’ve ever seen about Jesus. The writers don’t claim that the story follows time lines as the Bible or that it totally accurate but it sure makes it more understandable. Probably the best TV series I’ve ever seen. Iam a “fan” and look forward to season 2.

I do think Levi (Matthew) had such clarity that he left everything to follow Jesus. Saint Ignatius uses the phrase “follow me” when he describes his experience with the clarity he felt. I don’t think it’s brainless; it’s faith.
