Prayer , Work ,Study, what an ideal way to live. Thank you for sharing this reflection with us. What a great way to balance our lives as the monks do. Reading your reflection, I just feel like attending one of the monastic retreat. May God help us to restructure our lives by making time for prayer, work and study.

Thank you Dan. Happiness is not measured or is not a matter of intensity but as you stated is a matter of balance. Physical, mental and more important spiritual balance. Spiritual balance comes from daily interaction with the word of God and being open to the message that will help with the other two components of balance. The three make up a triangle and the triangle is the most stable building structure in nature. Your reflection reminded me of the need for balance. Peace be with you.
