As I read the first reading I see parallels between the disgruntled Jewish people and the world today. People who are never happy with the blessings they’ve received. Turning away from God, always complaining. So God sends a virus that takes many lives. Will we also turn back to God? Will we ask Mary to intercede for us? I pray that we do. God has already sent His son to heal us. All we need to do is look at Jesus on the cross, open our hearts to Him and be healed.
Mother Mary, I pray for all of us. Ask your son to show us mercy and stop the spread of the virus. May he lay His healing hands on those that have the virus and provide them strength and comfort as He heals them according to His will. Amen.
