The ministry of Jesus is now our ministry. We are reminded that the work of the Church, our ministry, is to save souls- “salus animarium”
Jesus came to bring good tidings to the poor. He came to liberate those under bandages, both spiritual and physical.
Jesus said he has come not to call the righteous but sinners.
May we never forget that the Church as Pope Francis said is a field hospital.
Today and as it was inside the synagogue of Nazareth, the Message of Jesus is fulfilled in our hearing.
