Thank you so much for sharing this. It immediately took me back to being a little girl myself, every Christmas Midnight Mass, from age 7 to 10 I would get to walk in the procession with my most beloved priest Father Joseph Molek. (Father returned “home” in 1974 I believe).

The purity of it. The breathtaking anticipation that I, a lowly little girl would be allowed to step on the altar!! BIG deal back then!!!!

Of everything that I looked forward to about Christmas ( the gifts, the food, the family, etc) this is what I was most excited for!!! Best 4 Christmas’s ever!

My Mother was, it seems, like mine. I have been offering it up my whole life thanks to her guidance, but occasionally I neglect to offer the “good” up. Thanx for the reminder!!!
