Over the years my sister and family have gone in other directions than their Catholic faith. One member joined 3-4 other Christian denominations. One member who thinks nothing of stealing and whose god is sex. One who chooses men as husband or partner that are not honorable men. Their lives are a MESS and I am angry at them for not listening to Gospel and Angry at myself for not doing something to change their ways.
In the end the messes our family members are in are not our messes but it is hard to watch them continue to mess up their lives. I am angry because it is hard to pray for them to change. Their world becomes smaller and smaller and the results of bad judgement compound in their lives. In the end it is hard to pray for them. Pray I must . It is a struggle that only Jesus can help me.
