I am always open to wisdom around this particular gospel and try to understand its essence. I was in class one day and the question came up about the greatest message of all time. After several minutes of discussion, some mentioned the Sermon on the Mount and it has stayed within me ever since.

I really like the line in Mass in the Eucharist prayer, “Look not upon my sins but on the faith of Your Church”.
