One of my favourite of yoir reflections, and yours tend to be some of my favourites (along with Steven and Joe).

What a beautiful way to bring us into Holy Week! I think that I read on here or maybe in Living Faith or Word Among Us that Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Holy Week tend to get forgotten after Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion and before Holy Thursday. Thank you for giving us insight into these Holy Days, Mary! I had no idea that Jesus spent this week’s evenings in Bethany with Mary, Martha, and Lazarus.

And it matches your amazing grace filled insights into what seemed to matter most to our Lord during His last week on our planet. We can see as you so well pointed what and more importantly, WHO mattered to Him. I like to think that we too are in that circle of friends with Him, but I also like to cherish the thought that the Lord wants us to have friends like this as well. We see His humanity fully expressed in the simple ‘act’ of being with his friends.
