Dan, these past few days I have been suffering with back pain and missed Monday’s readings and reflection…but through the suffering I did offer them up for those in most need of mercy. Your words speaking to our beginnings in the womb were beautiful and I literally lost my breath as I continued reading. Thank you, Dan, for this much needed, reaffirming reflection to, once again, remind and encourage me that my suffering is temporary and to “offer it up!”

Thanks Dan. It’s easy to fall into ‘whine mode’ when things don’t go my way. I offer up my day in the mornings too, so I can remind myself later in the day when I start whining! Thanks for the affirmation for offering up our sufferings through scripture. There is so much to learn from our Lord!

Hey Dan, enjoyable read. I think we have the same Mother! Hahaha. Yes, I still try to make a good morning offering every day. Offer up my prayers, works, joys, sufferings, and sorrows. My Mother explained me to do that in the morning in case I was distracted the rest of the day my offerings have already been heard.
