Great reflection, Dan. “Pick up your cross daily, and follow Me,” and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. It brought this statement to mind while reading your reflection. I have been struggling with humility and conversion of loved ones in my life, and I need to let the Holy Spirit is doing all the work. How wonderful it is to read your reflection that underscores this very point. God bless.

Dan your reflection has taught me not to accept praise for my good deeds because such praise belongs to God the Father Almighty and that we as christians should serve others so that God should be praised

Oh yeah forgot to let everyone know, if memory serves correct The Blessed Virgin Mother Mary is the patron saint of the united states. So Jesus gave her to us from the cross, the u.s.a. is her territory and I attend holy rosary church in Tennessee. um…. I think maybe oh um… God has me in the formation he wants. So we’re cool like that. Even though we’re referring to the Holy Family and things of that nature. We’re allowed to be cool like that.

Good morning and thank you for this wonderful article and a chance to read and know about this Mr. John Curry. I guess this is where purity of heart comes in. To be able to see that “extraordinary” things can happen when we’re there present or through us when we helped a friend deepen his faith is something we owe much to our Lord. And a time for rejoicing and thanking God and never an opportunity to make it a capital to gain acclaim and popularity.
