So true Mary, the mountain top can be anywhere. I've been on many pilgrimages only to come home and not feel changed, and thinking, now what? But I can walk about in our various city parks, spring, summer, autumn and even winter and marvel at beauty that surrounds me. Spring is when the geese and ducks waddle through the park to the river with their young following them. I never tire of watching them every spring. Never thought of it as a mountain top experience, but now I do. Thank you.

Thank you, Mary. “I want this Advent to be different.” Was exactly what was in my thoughts leading up to Advent. I really want this Advent to be focused on Jesus rather than all of the craziness that comes at this time of year. My plan is to pray the rosary daily. I’m hoping that I can make this a part of my routine to continue after the holidays. Now if I can only stop my thoughts from jumping all around when I’m trying to meditate on the mysteries....

Thanks so much, Mary for sharing the ways to have that mountain top experience! I will give it a try. Easy for me to be too preoccupied preparing for Christmas as an event that I tend to forget who the center of that event is. Thanks for reminding. God bless. Happy day!
