I have been worried about what could happen after the result is out. We truly need fervent prayers for the country or anyone who wins. We cannot lose hope as Christians.

I hope Catholics go to the polls and vote in line with ‘Faithful Citizenship’ as put out by the Bishops, which you can see at USCCB.org. And the Mass televised on EWTN the last couple of days have been given by a priest from ‘Priests for Life’. This vote is the only voice that many have.

Thank you for this message and reminder that we cannot lose hope in the midst of this uncertain time. We must keep our eyes on God and keep moving forward in faith to love and serve Him, regardless of the outcome of our election tomorrow. We must be examples to others of how to live and react in challenging moments – a difficult task – so I will pray and place my trust in Him.
