Thanks Dan for this wonderful reflection. It is very true about me. Whenever I stay without prayer I find myself very confused, without happiness and always complaining but when I go back to prayer my confusion and unhappiness go away and I become a better person and feel satisfied and full of life

Dan,your reflection is wonderful and is so true. I lost my wife two years ago very suddenly and I was mad at God and I ran from God. God was very patient and kept calling me. I finally heard him calling and I finally answered him.. It has been wonderful every since. I have begun my novice year as an Oblate of St. Meinrad and follow the rule of St. Benedict. My life has order now, the chaos of the world is there but it is clearer now and easier to understand. Put God in the center of your life and you control the world around you.

Dan, recycled or not, I love this reflection! It's packed with points that hit close to home in my own life and marriage. And the bit about sending Jonah overboard to his Maker as a means to send him to God made me laugh out loud. Thanks and God bless on the road.
