Thanks Dan for this wonderful reflection. It is very true about me. Whenever I stay without prayer I find myself very confused, without happiness and always complaining but when I go back to prayer my confusion and unhappiness go away and I become a better person and feel satisfied and full of life

Dan,your reflection is wonderful and is so true. I lost my wife two years ago very suddenly and I was mad at God and I ran from God. God was very patient and kept calling me. I finally heard him calling and I finally answered him.. It has been wonderful every since. I have begun my novice year as an Oblate of St. Meinrad and follow the rule of St. Benedict. My life has order now, the chaos of the world is there but it is clearer now and easier to understand. Put God in the center of your life and you control the world around you.

My days always seem so much better when I sit still and pray. I have been working the Better Version of Yourself, Mathew Kelly’s book and it’s improved my prayer life substantially.
