well, speaking of fears, it was JAWS that scared me as a kid-and of course that movie, IT, with the stupid clown! There is nothing like keeping me on my toes and being very aware of the evil forces yet what a great consolation that God is with me every step of the way-even when I wasn’t looking…. Good article!

Dan, you really made me laugh – poor kid – just winning the battle against monsters, only to find out about possessions! Funny now – but wasn’t funny then!
Thanks for your reflection.
After reading the gospel by Luke I was struck with how brave Jesus always was – how he stood up for what was right and just – and the woman he cured stood up – both to glorify God.
Indeed let us pray that we find the strength and perseverance to endure our battles, our bondage and that we always receive the healing touch of Christ.

Thank you Dan for the reality of fears when we were young and the greater reality of the devil now who can take our souls away. Let us pray to all the Saints in Heaven to help us be strong in our Faith so we can be with them when the time comes. We also pray for our dear departed who can also pray for us and also needs our prayers very much.

As you said, the devil knows our weak points, and it is there where he attacks us, and we fall. But God is above all sins. Confession cleans all sins and showers on us lots of graces.
We trust in God forever, Amen.
