Growing up in catholic school and church not much was taught about her and what I was taught was very little but that she was a prostitute. I do not believe that is true at all. I feel very strongly about it. I think it’s very sad because she was a very big part of the Jesus story. I believe she went through something that left her an outcast maybe she left an abusive husband and was labeled a prostitute. She was very troubled when she found Jesus and found herself again with his forgiving and understanding nature. She became my favorite Saint a few years ago when God allowed me to experience something amazing, changed my life forever and I will never be the same. I never knew life like I know it now even after all these years of church and being taught by nuns, it was God who opened my eyes when I didn’t even know I was blind.
