I and our community here at Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine , Namugongo/UGANDA , are indebted to you for your divinely inspiring reflections. Here, at our parish, is the shrine where St Charles Lwanga and his companions were martyred for their faith on June 03rd,1886. Currently, we are preparing for this year’s pilgrimage that is due in a few days. I am a lay faithful in charge of liturgy in our The Ten O’clock Family Mass, the flagship Mass in English every Sunday here at our mini Basilica. Three Popes, including Pope Francis, have made pilgrimages here. I thank you and urge you continue to pray for us. God bless you !
