Today’s gospel is one that gives encouragement even to the dying. The power of our God is always made manifest in our weakness; in our failing state, in our desperation and hopelessness. This reflection has really made my day. Thanks Bob. God bless you!

I found something new in your reflection. “The good news is that our Savior is already in the process of seeking us…. His hand is stretching out to catch us.” Under your light I now know that beside me asking God to save me, God is seeking us. Ready, before we are, to take our hand and save us. Wow!
“The Good Shepherd is always seeking that “lost sheep” inside of us, …” The light on this scripture is not only about my actions, but more about that secret place inside me that might be scared, overwhelmed, sad, angry…. That place is where the Shepard is looking at me. Bob, you never fail to enlighten me. Thank you and praise God!

This gospel is also one of my favorites. It’s so easy to be afraid, especially in dire circumstances. To doubt things will turn out well, and sometimes they don’t. But God always has a new and better plan that we don’t see. He carries us, if need be, in the middle of our troubles. It shows His mercy. Thank you.
