Very nice reflection.

As one reads the Old Testament it’s pretty easy to see that God developed a very close and special relationship with Jews over the centuries. The Jews were God’s chosen people. They were “picked out by the Father”.

After reading your reflection, I wondered, of all the people, shouldn’t have the Jews had “ability to recognize him”? And if we take it one step further, if the Jews didn’t recognize Jesus as the Messiah, are they still God’s chosen people?
