Thank you again Mary for a reflection that brings out the best of us as Christians. To be honest the more I learn (from Christians like you) the more my faith strengthens and is understood and therefore applied. The CM has been a life changer for many of us and you are such a huge part of it all. May God continue his work through you and have a Blessed Easter. Cheers Mary O!

Mary, I‘ve enjoyed your reflections over the years but only today decided to comment.

You’re by far my favorite author on this site because you always highlight your struggles but what always comes through is your faith in our Lord.

Your wisdom comes not from knowledge of scripture and theology but from your constant reliance on Jesus through it all.

I never feel like you’re talking at “us” in every post. Rather, I feel like you’re talking with Jesus and “we’re” able to listen in.

Thank you for being a role model without knowing it (or me) and know that you have been in my prayers in your struggles (like when your house burned down).

Please continue your great work you do online and offline and know you have a loving brother here for you through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Once again Mary, something in your reflection has struck a nerve. "You've got to be where people are - only lower - to serve them." Great line! Very worth remembering.
I still remember the way I felt the first time I had to wash, dry and put lotion on my mother's feet. She's done so much for me, it was the least I could do for her. (By the way, I'm still doing that some 10 years later.)
I was thinking earlier today, how I miss the home bound folks that I minister to. It's been three weeks since we've talked and shared Jesus. I will have to call them this weekend.
Peace
