I decided to plants peas, beans and a couple of other veggies. Every morning, I would water my garden, patiently waiting for something to sprout. Then it happened, the tiniest head popped up! And I watched the plants grow into delicious peas and beans. What a thrill! I like to think my faith is like that. My mother, may her soul rest in peace, planted the first seed of faith in me as a child. I grew to love the celebration of Mass, especially at Christmas, and later as I grew older the Lenten/Easter season became my favourite time. It reminds me of something new after a long struggle. The seed of faith is like that for me.
