Bob: 2 months ago I obtained hearing aids (like you high frequency loss). When I first acquired them I was awe struck as I stood still in the street listening to bird song. It is folly not to use them. God created the scientists who engineered them to benefit us. Do not be stubborn. Make it a habit every morning to out them on and experience the joy of God’s world.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” That phrase is a decal above our patio door. It was there when we moved in, but I fail to pay enough attention to it. My free will allows me to sin over and over. I need to learn, to choose to accept the strength that Christ offers. I need to turn up my spiritual hearing aids!
