Bob, thanks for the reflection. I can very much relate to St. Paul in this particular Gospel from Luke. Lord have mercy on my soul.
I hope your distant relative does not have to make the difficult decision. I have a “beef” with the “marvels of modern medicine”

Tks Bob. Indeed, the sign in the sky is that we should seek Jesus. He is our only rescuer. We lean on Him to draw strength from Him to overcome our weaknesses.
