Also doesn’t it appear that those who are intent on “Thou shall not” immerse themselves in a scrupulous search for the exact formula to obey. It’s no coincidence that the same folks desire absolute fidelity to some imaginary manner to think, worship and obey. These are the same folks who Jesus denounced as Pharisees who pursued judgment and not mercy. And these are the same folks who deny racism in the Church in the past while practicing it in reality NOW.
