Compassionate is what I read in you. Thanks for sharing your sorrow concerning your Grandson. My son had a drinking problem in his teenage years into his twenties. Many court appointed rehabs and one day he woke up and decided ENOUGH! That’s been 20 years ago now. Do I believe in the power of love and prayers YES! I was a mother in agony for 13y years but knew in my heart…if I hurt this bad..how my son must hurt to be possessed by this disease! God bless you Bob, your family, cancer victims, caregivers. Peace in our hearts and our world.

Like you I used to give blood regularly but now, and again like you, my iron level is too low to donate. I hope your level increases so you can again donate. I pray for your grandson in rehab and that the program will be successful in helping him.

It took almost twenty yrs for this to happen and only after he walked out of numerous treatment programs. It took prison to turn his life around. He has held the same job now for almost yrs. and married a beautiful woman last fall. All in God’s time. Praying for your grandson.
