Thank you for the healing reflection which reminds me that joy is not dependent on our external circumstances but on our wholehearted belief and acceptance of God’s mercy and love. Yes, I know bad things happen to all of God’s children and the moments of despair are sometimes overwhelming; yet God’s love overwhelms the despair.
Also, thank you for the advice that you shared in an earlier reflection concerning forgiveness and preparing for the sacrament of Reconciliation.. I tried the process that you explained, and I experienced God’s cleansing forgiveness, as I had not in the past. May God continue to bless you and your service to our Lord.
