First things first. If one is unforgiving, then one is not fully aligned with His first Commandment to love Him above all things with your whole heart, your whole mind, and your whole soul. Only by loving Him first can one forgive another who has harmed us. This is inclusive of loving and forgiving oneself which indeed is a must after receiving forgiveness from Him through the sacrament of reconciliation which is a gift from Him to us in mending our souls.

This life is far from perfect and yet our Creator, our God, has placed us here for His purpose. All have a mission; all have a purpose; and all are loved by Him. He will never abandon us. His Commandments are a recipe for goodness. His Words have never been truer. His Son has shown us the narrow path and has asked us to walk it if we can. Walking the path is not glorius even though it leads to a glorius end. Some may choose to take it – the Saints did. Others may choose a broader path full of life’s many detours which leads us away and astray and get’s us lost at times. For those, it is God Himself who comes looking in returning us to the flock. His love conquers all in spite of ourselves. Trusting in Him and His ways will always put you back on course.
