I’ve been in a terrible mood because I’m 8 weeks pregnant (hormones) and I’m having taste issues. I had a tonsillectomy almost a year ago and the doctor must’ve injured or severed nerves dealing with taste. Everything I eat is bitter. I’ve been so mad at myself for being so “human” and being so down & in a bad mood for this thing, even though a lot of people have it worse than me! So, that’s why your reflection was perfect. I’d like to thank everyone for their prayers for my little brother (especially J). He’s the one I’ve been saying is very depressed and a couple weeks ago tried to take his life. He is in therapy now and doing a lot better-even living at his own home again. So, thank you. I’d also love prayers for healing of my taste and most importantly the health of my unborn baby and 3 other beautiful children. For my husband at work, he is SO overwhelmed. Also for someone in my family who is not nice to me and purposely chooses to pick on me. That God heals this person and helps me to deal with them better.

I had never looked at guilt and shame in that way. Your reflection has opened up my eyes… this week reflections have all been full message of LOVE..loving one another, looking for Jesus love inside ourself and the other. I am so grateful that I stumble across this catholics reflection website.. Thank you Lord and all those who contribute towards making us the children of GOD better. Please pray for me, I got declared redundant at the age of 45 and in the month of my birthday this year. Pray for my young family, two boys 8 and 10 years and my wife to be strong and loving as they have always been.
