HI Louise. I am praying that you be healed from your pain and for anyone else who is hurting physically or emotionally. May we find hope in our everyday waking hours as we see the flowers from our windows, as we hear the sound of the birds, or even feel the silence of the moment. God is everywhere, we are not alone and He feels with us. I thank God that He is enlightening my daughter in her moments of darkness. Please pray for her too. Thank you. God bless us all.

Dear Louise, I am so sorry for your pain. My husband too, suffers from depression and there’s such a helpless feeling about it. St Faustina, a mystic, talks about her soul being plunged into darkness (you can read her diary on line). She states “I learned later that God is closer to a soul at such moments than others. How pleasing are the hymns of a suffering soul! It mournfully sings out a longing for Him.” I will pray for the Lord to touch you with His glory.

I AM IN a black home of chronic depression. The pain is unbearable. I offer it up to Jesus in support of His I’m going salvific work in the world. The pain continues unabated. Am I missing something?
