I am questioning what true forgiveness is. I have family members I choose not to have in my life ever. In my prayers and through confession I have asked for forgiveness for the hurt I have inflicted on them. I believe both sides hold responsibility. I pray for them every morning and wish them everything good in their lives but I admit, at times, I still feel anger towards them. I pray that my heart and theirs are softened.
What is true forgiveness in Jesus' eyes?
Have I truly forgiven the way he wants me to?
I believe we are all brothers and sisters of Christ.
Please do not publish my name.
Thank you

Hello everyone. Still praying for- my little brother to find an amazing, Godly spouse. For my sister & brother in laws relationship. In thanksgiving that my sister just gave birth to her healthy baby boy. That God will show us if we should have one more baby. That the Holy Spirit would help me with all my worries & OCD.For any of my family members who deal with mental issues. For all those who are hurting, lonely, or sick. For my Uncle who just had surgery & radiation-that he is able to fully enjoy his sons wedding & the rest of his life. For my 3 wonderful children. That God leads them in all their choices and for good Godly friends all along the way. For their mental & physical health and for protection. For my husband who is a leader at work. For Gods hands on all his decisions as the leader of our home and at work. For his stress level. For Gods blessing so that we may be a light to others. Amen

Your words about moving through pain instead of around it is very difficult for me. Thank you for the reminder of why it is so important to do so. This reflection is your best ever! Thanks Carolyn.

Thank you so much Carolyn for your insightful reflection. It brings me Peace!. I
Would like our prayer community to pray for my friend Jan who has emphysema
And COPD in extreme. I am accompanying her to her next Doctor appointment
To find out how bad and what they can do if anything. Please pray that God give
Her comfort and acceptance, whatever the outcome. Thank you so very much.
