Carolyn, I look forward to your e-book. Thank you for all your prayers. Sandi, so glad your dad surgery went well and Bob from Florida please keep us updated as to how your wife is doing. We'll keep praying for you all as well as all the other petitions posted. Please pray for my husband to allow God's forgiveness to flood his soul, and that he know His love and support during this difficult time. Help me to be a Godly wife. Praise God for his goodness (and for Williams adoption yesterday as well as for the future adoption of JJ).

Carolyn, you are right in saying Jesus healed many non-Jews, that he modelled humility by this loving act. He was fully human and fully divine, he could not do otherwise. The men and women, Jews and non-Jews alike had to swallow their pride in asking for help. It is when we are in dire need that we too, like the blind men in today's Gospel ask for mercy. They asked with faith, perhaps another word for humility. Interesting that Jesus asked them if they thought he could heal them. When they said yes, he healed them because of their faith. It is the same with us, when we ask others to pray for us, we ask in faith, believing God, through Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit grants us what we ask, swallowing our pride in an act of humility. There is nothing more humiliating than confessing that we are in trouble and need help.

I love Psalm 127: The Lord is my light and my salvation.
Keep me and my family in your prayers as well as those who I have spoken of before. I pray that before the year ends, and new one begins God will bring peace of mind and heart to all who have asked for prayers for themselves, family, friends and the world at large.
God bless

Please continue to pray and ask Jesus to heal my ears from hearing my heart beat constantly . It is such a distraction. I feel like the blind men in today’s gospel asking Jesus to heal them. I want to be heard.

Pride rears its ugly head on a daily basis for me; and yet it's only after the thoughts and words escape my mouth that I realize it. I need to recognize it sooner and halt the process right there. Stop me from hating Muslims; end my pride over those less educated and fortunate; cease my battles with political rivals; open my heart for more LOVE and humility!!

Thank you, all for your prayers for my father. His heart ablation went well yesterday. Please continue to pray for him that he may regain sufficient strength to go back home and not require assisted living. Please pray for me for my sins of pride.
Please pray for my wife. She has a follow up doctor's appointment today to go over a sonogram after low kidney readings. She is 84 and has been fairly healthy except for a heart attack to years ago.
