Good thoughts. You are so correct is saying how important scripture is to hear God’s message. Just as in Jesus time no one listened, but to the sinners that had ears to hear the message eternal life came. The Kingdom of God is at hand for those that listen. Every generation is a mission field and has to develop those ears. We who hear and I am still listening must proclaim his message. The thing that is no surprise that just as in Jesus time some listened and others rejected. The message has to be proclaimed for the next generation.
