I was doing Lectio Divina of the mass readings today and was looking at the connection between Jeremiah and John the Baptist. Two different results but the same unwavering faith! I think compared to Herod who was making decisions based on which way popular opinion blew him from moment to moment it’s an important contrast. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts !!
