Thank you very much for clearing that up for me Mary - much appreciated!
I was thinking "someone is wrong" when in fact both where right.
I am happy to know I was the one wrong.
I hated algebra but I guess two rights = one wrong.
God bless and with love.

This year we are in Cycle C. However, if a parish has people who will be baptized at the Easter Vigil, the instructions are to use the Cycle A readings on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of Lent, because those readings work better with the "scrutinies," questions that the elect are asked. While this only has to happen at the mass where the elect are questioned, it is common in parishes to use the same readings for all masses (helps Father not to have to prepare two homilies).

Thanks Mary. You just inspired me to continue on my journey of creating a new me...or at least an improved or better me. It is difficult, but I know there are many things I need to let go and let God. We pray that the Holy Spirit give us the grace and strength to do the things we ought to do...and guide us and lead us the way. Peace and blessings to all.

Mary,
Last evening I left Mass without enough clarity in regards to how the readings needed to touch my soul. Your beautiful reflection certainly closed that gap! Thanks again for your ministry & message, absolutely scholarly & beautiful.

Very insightful and powerful. Thank you Mary. Your reflection has shined a new light on my lenten path as well. God's mercy and truth is continually surrounding us, I need to close my eyes and take the time to listen and reflect. Blessings to you.
