I have only read A Catholic Moment for several years. I particularly look forward to Sunday. Your thoughts and reflections are laced with compassion and grounded in years of work with “ ordinary people” who struggle. You don't use the platform to divide into sheep and goats by insinuating or proclaiming doctrine and/ or teaching that is informed by a myopic need to proclaim Mother Church with misinformation gathered by a false sense of unity. Your examples are very touching and replete with honest sharing of your faith journey. So a big Thank You!! I know you will be fruitful wherever you are planted!

Mary,
I'm echoing the thoughts of other readers a I say you will be missed All of the writers at ACM have written something that has moved and inspired me. But your reflections, in addition to being inspiring, usually teach me something. God bless you for your efforts over the years. God bless you in all your future endeavors.
Peace

Mary, I’m so sad to hear you’ll no longer be writing for ACM. I have learned so much from you over the past years since I found ACM. You have so much talent and need to follow where the Holy Spirit is guiding you to use that talent. You will be greatly missed. Take care and God Bless.

Mary, you are a true inspiration to us all to read, learn, and live in the presence of God. I cannot tell you how many times I have been brought to my knees because of your words. Thank you for being such a light in this world and inspiring me and others to walk in the light of Christ. You will be missed deeply. I am not sure how I could stay in touch with you but I would love the opportunity to. God Bless you always.

Mary,
Thank you for your many reflections over the years. You will be sorely missed.
Side note: I've seen pictures of Jesus carrying a lamb but the one that stands out to me is the one with a bandage around the lambs leg.
I've heard it said it was common practice for the Sheppard of that time to break the lambs leg and then carry it until it heals - thus the lamb would be fully attentive and follow it's Sheppard.
I love you Mary.
God bless.
