The first reading for Mass today is about radiant light. It’s just beautiful. The first verse reminds you of the gospel today, because of the star that the three kings followed to find baby Jesus: “Rise up in splendor, Jerusalem! Your light has come, the glory of the Lord shines upon you … upon you the Lord shines and over you appears his glory. Nations shall walk by your light, and kings by your shining radiance.”
