And I tell you, ask and you will receive.
Seek and you will find.
knock, and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks and receives,
and the one who seeks finds;
And to the one who knocks, the door will be opened

Thank you so much for the prayers and love showered in comments. It made me feel so grateful for the fact that I have wonderful faithful humans around the world praying for me. I am much better and pain-free at the moment—hopefully I will recover over the next 3 months!

Today’s reading is always close to my heart.

As a student in India, asking questions is often frowned upon. I would feel very shy and embarrassed to ask any question in front of my classroom and would eventually ask my elder brother (who introduced me to the library and eventually the internet—millennial problems) or ask my mother, who would often make up answers to shut me from pestering her hehe!

As I aged, I realized this was a major drawback in my life, especially professional and sometimes personal too. I would stand silent and adhere to rules as told and often missed out on opportunities and felt imposter syndrome. Until one day a dear friend told me, “You should always ask questions!”

And so I began. As a 28-year-old, I started asking questions—at work, in relationships, in friendships, with my patients, and in general with others and everyone around me—and I listened to learn, understand, and think before I said something smart or witty! I learnt to ask for what I want and as I walked into my 30s I realised how this also affected my faith.

I pray I ask for what I desire but dont fret cause God will give me what I want or deserve in His time.

Today I ask for better health and recovery and above all, ask for my patients to get through it all !

AMEN
