Hi Father you made my Sunday great by your homily on the readings today. Sometimes I read scripture and just don't get it but you explain and bring all the readings together. Thank you so much and God Bless you

Hey Father,

Well done.

Your knowledge of scripture and how to apply it is outstanding.

But today’s last line from the Gospel reading is probably the most depressing line in all of the Bible. “But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?"

It’s as if Jesus is saying, “I wonder if all that am doing, if God’s plan, is for naught?”

It makes one wonder.

Thank you Father, your words were much needed.

I’ve always taught my kids (and now Grand-kids!) that God, He Who Is I Am, answers ALL prayers.

Sometimes He says “yes”. Sometimes He says “no”, and sometimes He says “not yet”.

Prayer for me is personal, yet somehow communal.

God Bless.

Thanks Father for a wonderful explanation of today's readings. Love reading your piece after mass. It brings the word right to the center of my daily life.
This morning I am the lector at our church. I was looking for the readings on my phone to practice when I came across your explanation. Thank you Father for your words. It helps with my background understanding as I proclaim His Word in the inflections to use.
May God continue to bless your work as I know He will.
